When the Greenwich Country Day School was preparing to expand into a high school they had to build a new playing field as well. The campus where the school would be located made it necessary for them to take down a lot of trees to build the new playing field. We worked with them to salvage as many of the logs as feasible and put them back into the new building as tables, benches, walls and ceilings. The dining hall table are made of red oak, the ceiling is a mix of red and white oak, and the feature wall is a mix of beech, hickory, white oak, red oak and maple.
