In the fall of 2009, Choate Rosemary-Hall asked us if we could do something with a large oak disk that had been leaning against their grounds building garage.  They thought it would be interesting for students to see the rings on the large oak.  Initially we thought to hang it on the wall, but as we sanded the giant disk we saw it as a great gathering spot.  Last spring we presented the school with this circular bench which now sits in the science center.
